Marita Sambono is an established artist from the Nauiyu community (Daly River region) and is a member of Merrepen Arts.

Her works are primarily known for textile and canvas designs, such as her famous “Fog Dreaming” design, which are founded on her Ngan’gi’ kurrunggurr culture’s stories and the local natural environment.
